Margje Teeuwen is a well known Amsterdam based artist. She gratuated as a designer in 2000 and lived of her art eversince. Margje sells her paintings in Europe and the US. Combining art with design LAYBAG is a next step in her career.

Margje: “My first encounter with the canvas was at age 20 when I started at the higher school of arts. I was a little shy in my first pieces of paper but soon I discovered that this was a great way of expressing myself.  In the beginning we only worked on paper but at home I started working on canvas and I was immediately hooked. Soon I discovered this was my number one tool for communicating.
